Hallidays Point is situated midway between Forster and Taree and is a coastal area taking in the villages of Tallwoods, Blackhead, Redhead and Diamond Beach. Blackhead Beach is a multi-award winning beach under the Keep Australia Beautiful program for its cleanliness and its friendly local resident population winning back to back titles as the friendliest beach and the cleanest beach. Blackhead Beach is patrolled during the summer months and features ocean pools, excellent fishing, picnic and BBQ areas for family outings. Another highlight of this area is the littoral rainforest walk which encompasses striking coastal landforms as well as rare tracks of the coastal rainforest. The walk takes in the two headlands of Blackhead and Redhead and is joined by Blackhead Beach. Another fantastic walk is through the Seascape subdivision with great walking tracks and fantastic beach and ocean views to the north. With a recently built shopping complex, where Futures Real Estate is situated, we now have a Coles Supermarket and other great shops. Tallwoods Village offers an 18 hole championship golf course featuring a pro shop and bistro restaurant. There is a family tavern, bowling club and nearby fun parks.
